Fall begins this week

OK...I've been a bit lax recently in updating the blog. It's just been kind of boring. I mean like no really exciting weather patterns have been developing. (insert yawn)

This week is going to be no exception. If you check out the midweek map at left, you'll see a LOW pressure system over the middle part of the country and a jet stream well to the north of us. Translated, that means occasional clouds and showers and warm temperatures. The normal daytime high for this time of year should be around 70. We are going to be several degrees above that through midweek. Next week, if the projected pattern holds, we'll get back to normal and perhaps a bit below. Meantime, when Autumn begins at 5:18pm Tuesday, it's not gonna feel very much like fall.

Enjoy!
