Tomorrow's  Kent Heritage Festival the various fireworks displays in the area are going to continue to have to dodge showers and storms throughout the weekend.  It looks like a change in this pattern will finally occur late next week.

Waves of rain and storms will move across the area today, so precipitation will be a bit more frequent today and tonight than it has been the past few days. Still no definite end in site to this pattern, although there are some hints of change toward the middle of next week.

It looks like the HIGH pressure area over the Atlantic will retrograde into our neighborhood and that should push a lot of the moisture that has been east of the Appalachians over eastern Ohio for the holiday. Not a scenario we would like to see, but it may be a bit wet for the 4th.
