Our first snow is on the way!

Our first accumulating snow of the season is on the way.  It's only going to be 1-3 inches, but it's our first snow which means driving will be screwy because so many people freak out when they see snow for the first time in the fall. It's like they have to re-train themselves how to drive in it.  LOL

OK enough of that. Now the basics...

A polar blast of air will arrive in northern Ohio Monday afternoon. Initially we will have rain, but it will quickly turn to lake effect snow showers around dark. Winds will be pretty much northerly which means our friends south of Akron will also see some snow. Both the primary and secondary snow belts will see 1-3 inches overnight Monday with an additional inch or so possible on Tuesday. The map to the left shows an inch of snow generally across state, but up here in the NE we will obviously get more, thanks to Lake Erie. After that it will all go away and temperatures will warm into the mid 40s on Thursday.
Enjoy!
