Tuesday Forecast, February 11

I was looking back at high temperatures yesterday. There have been 41 days so far this year. Of those 41 days we only got above 32-degrees on 14 of them.  That means that for 27 days since January 1st, we have been below freezing.  Yeah...that's kinda cold. The good news is that a warm-up should occur next week.

A dry slot developed over eastern Ohio overnight slowing down the snow, but leaving behind some freezing drizzle and freezing rain. Initially it was thought that the dry slot would develop over West Virginia and SW Pennsylvania, however it developed further west. This is where the slightest movement of a storm center can change the predicted pattern. (see radar pic below)
