Tuesday Evening Forecast (Updated)
Rain will move into the region tonight. It will change to snow during the morning tomorrow with possibly a period of freezing rain during the changeover. At the moment it appears that the morning rush hour should just see rain, but the evening rush will likely be a completely different story.

Sunday Forecast (updated at 4pm)
Enjoy the next few days of warm temperatures because another cold blast is set to arrive for Wednesday and Thursday. The arrival of the colder air will be accompanied by snow. At present it looks like the snow will begin overnight Tuesday/Wednesday morning. It could begin as a few hours of rain, but then become all snow by daybreak.
At this time it looks like the greater Akron area can expect 3-6 inches of snow during the day Wednesday.
The snow will taper off late Wednesday and Wednesday night. Tuesday will be frigid, but then we will warm back up into the 40s on Friday.

Ah, yes...another winter storm
And yet again, we are going to have to deal with a potential significant snowstorm this week. It's similar to the last one...cold air pushing south into the warm air already in place below the Mason-Dixon line. The computer models are coming into a better solution as to what will happen, but they are still far from agreement. Friday the models had NE Ohio getting anything from a couple of inches of snow to near blizzard conditions. That's quite a range! Today it's looking more like snow, but there is still a chance for some rain to mix in and that, of course, will cut the snowfall totals considerably.
At any rate, it looks like the storm will affect us sometime on Wednesday into Thursday. Plan on snow, we just don't know how much yet. Below is an early forecast map from AccuWeather.
