Thursday Forecast, January 23

The National Weather Service will likely issue another Wind Chill Advisory for tonight as the temperature drops to ZERO with wind chill values about -15 by morning. Of greater concern is another Arctic push that will arrive the beginning of next week. At the moment we are looking at Tuesday morning being the coldest with air temperatures well below ZERO and wind chills in the -20 to -30 range. More on that as we move through the weekend.

A cold front will bring in Arctic air about midday tomorrow. That front will knock our daytimes highs into the teens for the rest of the week with nighttime lows in the single digits. We could get back into the 20s next Saturday. Gonna be a chilly week.

Some really cold air will arrive in the area this weekend and it looks like it will stay around for the remainder of the month. Don't expect temperatures to crack the freezing mark for a couple of weeks.
