Update: As of 5:30am, 4 inches of snow had fallen at the Weather Center and 88.9/WSTB Studios. The general snow from the storm has moved east. Lake Effect will affect us today.


WINTER STORM WARNING FOR LAKE EFFECT SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW!

Mostly cloudy, windy, and cold with lake effect snow and squalls. The wind will cause blowing and drifting of the snow.

Snow totals will generally range from 3-6 inches across the greater Akron area. Some areas could get more if they get stuck under a lake effect snow band.

A morning high of 32, then turning colder during the day.
