Tuesday Weather, January 7

This was record cold for early January. Record low temperatures were set at both Cleveland and Akron/Canton yesterday and this morning.  See the bottom of the forecast for the info. The good news is that we will be in the mid 40s over the upcoming weekend.

High around +2 with daytime wind chills -20 to -30


At Night


Becoming mostly cloudy.
Temperatures will remain steady then slightly warm overnight to around +5 by daybreak with morning wind chills around -10.

Rather cloudy, but warmer with occasional snow showers.

COLD TEMPERATURES BREAK RECORDS FOR TWO DAYS!

Low temperature records were broken on Monday and Tuesday at both Akron/Canton and Cleveland.
§  Cleveland’s records date back to 1884 on both days.

§  Akron/Canton’s previous record low on Monday was set in 1924 and on Tuesday in 1942.
