Winter Storm Update (Wednesday evening)

The snow will resume overnight tonight and continue on Thursday. Winds will increase late tonight and that will cause the snow tomorrow (as well as the snow currently on the ground) to blow around. It cold be a nasty rush hour tomorrow morning. See the forecast below for details.

We will get a little break during the first half of the weekend with sun and warmer temperatures on Saturday. On Sunday more snow will develop and that will be followed the coldest air we have seen in the past several years.

On Monday morning temperatures will be in the lower teens with wind chills a bit below zero. That's just the "warmup" act. Tuesday morning the cold air will really be in place. At this point we are looking for actual air temperatures Tuesday morning to be around -6 degrees with wind chills in the -25 degree range. That's gonna be frigid!
