Winter Storm update (7:30pm Saturday)

Everything remains right on track. While snow will fall during the day Sunday, the heaviest snow should occur during the evening and overnight hours. I still think we will have 4-8 inches of new snow by Monday morning and then another inch or two on Monday. One change that has occurred is that some sleet or freezing rain may mix in with the snow for a few hours Sunday evening.

As for the temperatures and wind chill, we remain on track with earlier forecasts. For specifics see the earlier posts. Monday will just be an ugly, snowy, day with temperatures falling like a rock throughout the day.

Officially, the National Weather Service has issued some warnings. Here's the rundown on those:

WINTER STORM WARNING
6pm Sunday until 5pm Monday

WIND CHILL WARNING
5pm Monday through 9am Wednesday
